Hired by Cadillac Fairview to lead the strategic leadership for the top performing world-class and iconic Toronto Eaton Centre mixed-use office and retail real estate portfolio (Annual pedestrian traffic of 40M, $1B in retail sales, retail sales of $1,400 per psf, asset value of $3.5B).

  • Accountable for leasing, property management, construction, tenant coordination, ESG initiatives, regulatory compliance, capital, accounting, recruitment, tenant relationship, marketing, operations professionals and third-party vendors.

  • Developed strategic plan including integration of additional international retailers, restaurants, entertainment and innovative customer experience initiatives.

  • Implemented the Urban Eatery concept, a scullery-based state of the art food hall experience. Led implementation of several key technological and marketing initiatives such as social media, digital way-findings, eConcierge, iBeacons and Path Intelligence.Realigned Parking Services, Security and Maintenance departments to provide best world-class experience.

  • Achieved expenses savings over $1M annually by right-sizing property management department.

  • Led the implementation of sustainability initiatives bringing energy conservation and waste recycling factor to more than 90% for office tenants and 80% for retail tenants.

  • Awarded three (3) BOMA National Office building of the Year awards in 2013, 2014 & 2015. One (1) award on BOMAInternational level.

  • Awarded two (2) ICSC Marketing National Awards in 2013 and 2014.

BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES (Formerly GGP) Mixed-Use Portfolio

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, provided leadership for leasing, operations, development, acquisition, dispositionand strategic planning, set and tracked KPI and ESG goals for the company-wide national office and mixed-use assets. Portfolio consisted of approximately 100 properties, 10M sf and generated over $150M of NOI.

  • Key assets included Merrick Park & Mizner Park (Miami, FL), Harborplace and Columbia Town Center (Baltimore, MD), Summerlin Town Center (Las Vegas, NV), Faneuil Hall (Boston, MA), Glendale Galleria (Los Angeles, CA), Arizona Center (Phoenix, AZ), Watertower (Chicago, IL).

  • Led in-house and third-party leasing teams to closing more than 5.9 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space. Led2012 Top Leasing Producer Team in deal square foot volume.

  • Increased the NOI of the real estate portfolio by approximately 15% during the 2008-2012 period.

  • Granted GGP National Operations Award in 2008 for exceptional operating efficiencies results.

  • Was instrumental in the disposition of approximately $850M of assets during the period 2010-2012.

Brookfield Retail Properties (Formally GGP) - Regional Shopping Center Portfolio

Provided leadership and strategic planning for the U.S. Pacific Northwest region. Portfolioconsisted of 10 regional office campuses / shopping centers and generated over $100M of NOI with overall responsibility for management andoperations, customer experience, financial budgeting, strategic planning, leasing, business development, sponsorship, marketing, staffing,development services and new business.

  • Key assets included Westlake Center (Seattle, WA), Pioneer Place & Clackamas Town Center (Portland, OR), Rogue ValleyMall (Medford, OR), Salem Center (Salem, OR), Spokane Valley Mall (Spokane, WA), Bellis Fair Mall (Bellingham, WA), ThreeRivers Mall (Kelso, WA), Gateway Mall (Eugene, OR), Shoppes at Riverside (Aberdeen, WA).

  • Consistently increased NOI of the assets by more than 5% year after year.

COMINAR REIT - Mixed-Use Portfolio

Hired to lease, manage, develop, and operate the Mixed-used Office / Retail real estate portion of the portfolio totaling 3.2 million square feet.

  • Played an instrumental role to transition the company’s family-owned operating and investing platforms to a public REIT.

  • Optimized the performance of the real estate portfolio, identified and monitored the strategic development plan including leasing, marketing strategies for thehttps://promenadesbeauport.comretailers, acquisition and construction.

  • Provided guidance to the retail directors, shopping center managers, marketing directors, leasing staff, and maintenance staff across the portfolio.

  • Successfully closed deals totaling over 2 million square feet of lease agreements. Negotiated, monitored and managed operation contracts totaling 16 million dollars annually.

  • Increased net rental revenue from 18.8 million dollars in 1999 to 53.6 million through lease-up.
